A Gathering of Independent Authors

You have lived a book worth writing. Publish it yourself.

Self Publishing Club is a community of coaches, consultants, entrepreneurs, professionals, and storytellers who write and publish their own books, on their own terms, without waiting for a traditional publisher's permission.

No gatekeepers. No slush pile. Just your book, written and published.

The Club

We believe the age of waiting is over.

For most of publishing history, a book needed permission. You wrote a proposal, mailed a manuscript, and waited for a stranger in a distant office to decide whether your ideas deserved a spine and a cover. Most manuscripts never made it past the pile.

That world is gone. Today, a coach in Coimbatore, a consultant in Gurgaon, or a teacher in Madurai can write a book, publish it on Amazon, and reach readers in ninety countries without asking anyone's permission. The tools are on your desk. The distribution is a click away. The only remaining gatekeeper is the blank page.

Self Publishing Club exists for that last gatekeeper.

We are a gathering of like-minded authors who write together, learn the craft of independent publishing together, and hold each other to deadlines the way a good publisher once did. We are not a company selling you a dream. We are writers who decided to stop waiting, and we kept the door open behind us.

The only remaining gatekeeper is the blank page.

Why Self-Publish

Traditional publishing is a fine road. It is just not the only road.

We respect traditional publishers and the books they make. But for a working professional with expertise to share, the traditional path often means years of querying, single-digit royalty rates, and giving up control of your own title, cover, and timeline. Independent publishing offers another way.

The traditional path

  • Query letters, agents, and long waits for a yes that may not come.
  • Twelve to twenty-four months from acceptance to shelf.
  • The publisher decides your title, cover, and price.
  • Royalties are a small share of each sale.
  • Out-of-print decisions are made without you.

The independent path

  • You decide the book exists. Work begins today.
  • Weeks or months from manuscript to published, at your pace.
  • You own your title, cover, price, and rights, always.
  • You keep the larger share of every sale.
  • Your book stays available as long as you choose.

Neither path is free of effort. But only one of them starts whenever you are ready. That is the one we walk together.

Five things we hold true

01

Everyone has one book.

Years of work, clients, classrooms, and lived experience add up to something worth passing on. Expertise deserves a spine.

02

Done is the beginning.

A published imperfect book teaches you more than a perfect manuscript in a drawer ever will. Ship the first one; the second will be better.

03

AI is a pen, not an author.

We use modern tools to write faster and edit sharper. The stories, judgment, and voice must be yours, or the book is not worth printing.

04

Authors help authors.

Feedback, accountability, and a reader's honest eye are what publishers really provided. A community can provide them better.

05

Authority is earned in public.

A book will not make you famous overnight. It will make you clearer, more credible, and easier to trust. That is enough, and it compounds.

Who Belongs Here

If you have something to teach, you belong.

Members of the club come from every profession, but they share one trait: they would rather publish this year than "someday."

  • The coach whose method deserves more than an Instagram caption.
  • The consultant tired of explaining the same framework on every call.
  • The entrepreneur who wants to define a category, not chase one.
  • The trainer whose participants keep asking for “the book version.”
  • The speaker who wants something to sign after the keynote.
  • The executive building a voice beyond the org chart.
  • The teacher, doctor, lawyer, or engineer with hard-won lessons.
  • The storyteller who simply refuses to wait for permission.

You do not need to call yourself a writer. You need a reader you want to help, and a few weeks of honest work.

How It Works

We write together, learn together, and publish together.

Learn the craft

From choosing the right book idea to structuring chapters, working with AI writing tools honestly, and mastering the Amazon KDP process. Practical skills, taught plainly, with no mystique.

Write in sprints

Books get finished in focused seasons, not scattered Sundays. The club runs live writing sprints and workshops where members draft, edit, and package real manuscripts on real deadlines.

Publish with pride

Cover briefs, descriptions, keywords, categories, and the submission checklist. Members walk their books through KDP together, so no one faces the publish button alone.

The club is young and growing. We would rather stay small and useful than large and loud.

Programs

Current ways to write with us

The club runs live, hands-on programs through the year. Each one is built around a single promise: you finish something real.

Live Five-Day Workshop

Five-Day Authority Book Sprint

Write, package, and prepare your first short authority e-book for Amazon KDP submission in five focused days, using AI as your drafting assistant and the club as your deadline.

Explore the Sprint

More programs are announced to members first. Join the club to hear about them early.

Words to Write By

There is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside you.

Maya Angelou

Either write something worth reading or do something worth writing.

Benjamin Franklin

The scariest moment is always just before you start.

Stephen King

எண்ணென்ப ஏனை எழுத்தென்ப இவ்விரண்டும் கண்ணென்ப வாழும் உயிர்க்கு

Numbers and letters are the two eyes of the living.

Thirukkural, Verse 392
